SASO tracks public listings in the Shopify App Store. It records listing fields, keyword rankings and reviews over time, and makes that history available through a dashboard and a SQL API. Everything in the dataset comes from pages that are public on the Shopify App Store.

By using SASO you agree to these terms.

Shopify

SASO is not affiliated with Shopify, and Shopify does not endorse it. “Shopify” is a trademark of Shopify Inc. The name appears here only to describe what the data covers.

Pricing

The dashboard is free to use.

The Data API is a paid subscription at $99 per month. Billing is handled by Polar, which is the merchant of record for the sale. Polar’s own terms apply to the payment itself.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time through the Polar customer portal. Sign in with the email address you paid with. Polar sends a one-time verification code by email. Polar also links the portal from its order confirmation and renewal emails.

If you cancel, your API key keeps working until the end of the paid period.

Polar handles billing questions and refunds as the merchant of record.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service. That includes overloading it, working around rate limits, and trying to reach systems or data that are not yours.

Keep your API keys confidential. You are responsible for every query made with your key.

Do not redistribute or resell the dataset itself. Using query results in your own products and research is fine. Republishing the data in bulk as a competing dataset is not.

We may suspend an account or an API key that breaks these terms.

The data

The data is collected from public pages and is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or available. Listings change, scrapes fail, and gaps happen. Check anything important against the source before you rely on it.

Changes

We may change or discontinue features.

We may also update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of our country of establishment.
