We have used Trustpilot with our Shopify store since 2023, including a paid plan in 2023/24. Setting up the new app is quick. The problem is what comes after. When a review states something provably untrue, such as “never delivered” or “no refund”, and you hold the delivery scan and the refund record, the product gives you no real way to deal with it. The flagging tool has no category for false statements of fact, and rejections arrive as templates that do not address the evidence. Account management told us in writing that it has no say over moderation decisions, and we were never offered an appeal. In our experience, removals worked reliably only once a law firm wrote on our behalf, with the same evidence we had already sent ourselves. On the free plan, invitations are capped at 50 per month. If you are paying for review management, check first whether it covers the one task that matters most.

This app has been a complete waste of money. I paid $3,828 per year, but the app provided absolutely no value to my business. It is extremely overpriced and practically useless. I have already uninstalled the app and contacted their support team to request a refund, but I have received absolutely no response. It feels like there is no customer service at all. Charging customers such a high annual fee while ignoring refund requests is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend that others think twice before paying for this app. Based on my experience, the service and support are extremely disappointing.

Good, but I need the same dashboard on my business profile to be here on Shopify too, so I don't have to go anywhere except the Shopify dashboard.

Trust Pilot needs a paid tier between free and $1k+/ year for small businesses. I would happily pay a small fee for my small business but the first paid tier is just too expensive as a percentage of revenue. They get really fussy about sharing your rating on your own site as well. Seems like it is a ploy to get you to upgrade to a paid tier. Going to explore other options, including paid options, to see if I find something with better service and value for my business, in a paid tier.

The new Trustpilot Widget is a world apart to the original for customisability! Being able to add app block and custom CSS allows for far more unique use cases of injecting the widgets into the website, even allowing some to show on Mobile and not Desktop (and visa versa). A much more intuitive and Shopify native way of working. Huge improvements!

A massive improvement on previous app. Makes adding Trustpilot widgets to your store a lot easier (can now be done in theme editor). Yes, Trustpilot is expensive. But, you're paying to utilise a brand your customers know & trust, which is becoming more important with the prevalence of AI and fake reviews. I only gave 5 stars, as we cannot use tagging feature with this app, which we are paying for. I think this is a big oversight by Trustpilot.

App works great, got a lot of reviews quickly and drag and drop blocks are easy to use.

Trustpilot and their entire team have been absolutely incredible. Since implementing the platform, we have seen a significant uptick in both our conversion and click-through rates. We are extremely happy with both the product and the level of service provided. A well-deserved 5/5 stars!

Ich habe die App installiert, und es öffnet sich einfach nicht. Es hat die ganze Zeit einen weißen Bildschirm und es funktioniert einfach gar nichts... Habe die app deinstalliert und ereut installiert und es funktioniert immer noch nicht.. Weil ich würde Trustpilot gerne benutzen, weil dass ein sehr Bekanntes Programm ist, aber wenn die App nicht funktioniert kann ich damit leider auch nicht Arbeiten. Nachricht an Trustpilot: Bitte verbessert eure App, damit sie für ALLE Benutzer ordnungsgerecht funktioniert.

unterstützt seit dem update nicht mehr den versand von Einladungen auf deutsch. Kundenservice kann (oder will?) nicht helfen... Schade !!

The new Trustpilot Shopify app itself is ok - setup is straightforward and the Business review side works. The product review widgets are another matter. They are completely outdated: the widget renders as a window inside the page instead of being embedded into the site, review images are small and open blurred on mobile, and review dates are not shown at all - which is a real problem for products with a long lifecycle. I have submitted detailed, constructive feedback several times over the past 1.5 years. It gets acknowledged, and then nothing happens. Not a single meaningful update to the product review widgets in that time, despite improvements being promised. For a subscription at this price point, that is not acceptable. Competing review apps at a fraction of the cost solve all of the above out of the box.
