Tightly Lite: Demand Planning

I used to be completely buried in spreadsheets, trying to keep track of my business manually was a nightmare and this genuinely revolutionised my day to day work... I was one of the first users, so there were some bugs, but the team was great sorted things out pretty quickly. If you’re running a Shopify store and tired of the spreadsheets, this is a game changer.

We have been doing a lot of research including a lot of trial and error of inventory optimisation platforms and Tightly is one of the most exciting propositions. There's still a bit to do but the developers are fantastic and there's already so much power under the hood. Really looking forward to seeing where they take this. Highly recommended.

Immediate error message: "Tightly Lite is not open to [our website] yet." Cool story bro. I'd maybe be more generous with the review if there was any warning our shop couldnt sign up or even any reason given... Did i select the wrong thing? Who knows. Are they rejecting everyone this week? Hard to tell.

EDIT: updated to 3 star after the devs took the time to virtual meet with me and ask for input/what would make it work for our business/etc. Have not had time to go back in and check it out again but: a) Commitment to listening speaks volumes, b) They've enacted some fixes that should make it go faster (will test) and c) There's added functionality that is coming later this month (will test that as well, but it sounds promising on paper). Original review: Only one day in on testing this but, so far, it's a major disappointment. We have a large-ish number of SKUs in our Shopify catalog (30,000 and growing) and Tightly is simply chocking on it. Everything I try to do is S L O W .... Click on something, wait. Finish populating, try to select something, wait. And a lot of the bulk functions I am trying to implement don't even have a 'select all' option: I have to click on each one and (you guessed it): wait. I'll give it a few days to see if things improve as I poke around but, right now it looks like this is NOT a solution for shops that carry more than a few hundred SKUs. Review revision coming IF things improve.

Toby and the team at Tightly have been amazing in getting the app configured for us whilst taking our feedback onboard on ways to improve the app over recent months. The app has so many amazing features, some that we've not had the capacity to fully utilise yet due to the complexities of our procurement across multiple brands, but at it's core it's days of cover feature is ensuring we're stocked accordingly across the brands we sell. I would highly recommend Tightly and their support is some of the best I've come across with the Shopify apps we've used over the last 5 years. Keep up the good work Tightly!

Inventory finally matches reality. Tightly syncs everything back to Shopify without cleanup, so stock accuracy is never in doubt.
