SplitOrder

It works fine to split orders but there are some pretty annoying side effects. I wouldn't recommend using a tool like this if you can avoid it and work within Shopify Fulfilment Locations instead. - Any order created by Split Order cannot be edited at all - If customers go the current status of their orders they show as "refunded" which is confusing / concerning for customers - Inflates sales in Shopify Analytics. I thought it would only inflate Gross Revenue and Returns but it also inflates Net Revenue. Basically all your data becomes a mess that you have to build custom reports to find the truth.

This app was extremely promising. Then we started noticing that the orders that it touched started having mathematical problems. We also noticed that the sales figures that Shopify would report (when there were split orders) were completely wrong. Shopify support nailed the issue down to the app. We reached out to their support multiple times over two weeks without a single reply. Stay clear.

The app itself is great but the pricing is out of this world. We pay 49$ plan because we need about 150-200 orders split per month (at most.) Overall, in the last four months, we split 228 order, which results in costs of 0,88$ per order to be split.

Our experience with this app was extremely pleasant. We need to use this app to help separate some of our orders that included some pre-ordered products.

App simply just doesn't work. Ran the software on orders and it doesn't absolutely nothing. Simply a waste of money, resources and time.

FINALLY! A way for me to split line items that have been fulfilled but come back from 3rd party vendors as out of stock!

Always worked fine. Now however the orders aren't split to the by shopify assigned location. This makes the app basically useless because it just splits to locations without stock. Messaging support doesn't work because they don't come with a fix. It has been almost 2 months of manually adjusting orders.

SplitOrder saves our team a lot of time on manual labor needed to manage our drop ship vendor shipments. Allowing us to split the order into multiple orders allows us to automate our purchase orders to our vendors without needing our shipping team to separate the self-fulfilled from drop ship items in our WMS system. Jesse is extremely helpful and a creative problem solver who helped diagnose an issue with split orders and our returns portal. Such a HUGE help!

This app installed an issue I was experiencing with taking pre-orders. The app performs amazingly well for my needs and the team has been super quick to answer any questions. Definitely recommend!

I used this app to split different types of Shopify line items into their own orders based on tags. For example: preorder products were split from non-preorder products into two orders. Order-level tags were created and a "-BACKORDER" suffix was added to the split order :). Might I add, this is all done instantly after an order gets placed and before other processes get involved which is very nice. I really like how the team was very quick to work with us to accomplish our individual needs. After months of use, I cannot complain about anything. Thank you!

SplitOrder is fantastic! It is the ONLY solution that was able to allow us to split orders into separate fulfillments and allowed us to purchase/print multiple labels for orders with two or more items. The fact that this isn't native Shopify functionality is shocking. Shopify needs to buy SplitOrder and make this part of the native experience. The customer support team is very responsive and helped us transition from purchasing labels through Shopify to ShipStation. I can't recommend SplitOrder enough!

Our store had several integrations that were going to be impacted by the deprecation of the Shopify fulfillment API. The SplitOrder app was almost the perfect solution to our problems. After contacting Mercantile Solutions, they were able to enhance the existing SplitOrder app to meet our requirements. Saving us a lot of time and money. Thanks for your help Mercantile Solutions!

The app is not too over complicated and is very easy to use. But, just like everything that is under development for improvements there were a few bumps we faced on the way which were address promptly.

The app works great. Splits the orders to the 3PLs we require. Easy to setup and good support.

I would like to say that SplitOrder was the only app that could help us solve our use case and namely to split combined orders when immediate delivery + pre-order articles were bought together.
