I used to love this app but as of November 2024, things changed. The app provider blames Shopify but beware... The customer's IP address is used to find a 'close' postal code (Canada) to produce a shipping rate in the cart. When the customer proceeds to the checkout, the 'close' postal code and province are auto-filled in the shipping address form. We found that many customers don't review their postal code and leave the incorrect 'close' postal code. This has led to several misdirected parcels and returned parcels for us. We are now manually checking each and every shipment's postal code, something that we have never done before and shouldn't have to. Five different Code Blackbelt representatives have looked at my support request and have said they can't prevent the auto-filling of the postal code in the checkout, its a Shopify issue. It took a while to figure out where these wrong postal codes were coming from, I'm removing the app with the hopes of re-installing this app someday after the issue is resolved. January 2025, I requested that they allow the store owner to turn off the geographic locating. They said they didn't do custom app programming. I was more than thrilled to find another app that has this feature and more.

We are using this on https://wwww.autopartscheaper.com. This app is awesome. It gives customers the shipping rates right in the cart, based on geolocation. It installed with Zero Effort, and works right out of the box. This is a must have app, to help decrease cart abandonment.

Whaddyaknow it just worked, and in no time flat. Of the umpteen apps I've incorporated during our gargantuan task of migrating to shopify, this was the simplest and fastest to get going and the easiest to test. A relief after navigating through complex issues and compatibility problems with so many other apps.

Quite simply the best app support I have experienced to date with Shopify apps. The shipping rates calculator installed very easily, but it was a little bit offset on the alignment. I e-mailed the support e-mail and they had it fixed (on a Friday night) within an hour. They also identified my unique scenario where we have a minimum order amount and they made some adjustments to display the proper message in that scenario. Super responsive and helpful. We have a lot less abandoned carts because of this app. We use a customized, premium theme and the calculator fit in perfectly without any additional coding. Well done!

Easy to Install and set up. Great support too.

I purchased and downloaded a custom theme. I no longer needed most of the apps I was using. I really wanted to stop paying monthly fees for apps. It really was getting expensive. My new theme does everything for free. But one very important thing is this app. Since installing this app my abandon carts went from almost one a day to one every week or two. Clearly showing your customers the shipping fees is a MUST! Just a couple small “tweaks” that I wanted to make it fit with my theme. Done very quickly and professionally. Great app, great customer service.

Well worth it, cuts out email queries from customers asking about shipping.. app has all the smarts and works across various devices..

I was impressed with how easy this app is to install and customize, also it is mobile-friendly. So far everything is working without any problem. I would recommend other to give this app a try.

I would normally not trust anything that is only getting five stars ( so, damn it, I just changed it to a four for that sake alone ) but this app feels like it's doing what it says it will do, and really good, and a little bit more than what it says it will do. It's worth the five stars and every penny it costs you, but from me it only gets the pennies and four stars. It is not for everyone. I have been toggling it on and off as I wasn't sure if talking prices so early on was offensive for my artsy customers, or if they would enjoy not having to go through the hoops to find out shipping is impossibly expensive. But luckily, there are many fields where you can adjust the wording of what this plugin outputs, so if you are worried about tonal problems, this one lets you easily adjust!

Great little App. It helps my clients know the shipping options before they start the checkout process. Support is great also, prompt and ready to help with customization.

I have been using the calculator to show my clients the realtime rates for shipping within the US + globally with postal, UPS and DHL options for a year plus now. It is VERY helpful for the shipping quote to show on the cart page without customers having to move to the checkout process to see the shipping rates. The most frustrating part of online shopping is to not see my shipping options without having to go through a second step and giving a merchant more personal information - this app step in and gives quotes based on the shoppers location without the need for their input.

The response from the Code Black Belt Product Support Team was truly amazing. I sent a support email and got a fix and response within 15 minutes! Literally! Been using this app for more than 2 years now and I'm pleased to report that everything is working well as needed although there was a slight faux pas on my end from enabling the app to work on my storefront but Andres M. was very patient and guided me even though it was a very idiotic mistake on my part, very pleased and delighted to have this app to show shipping rates quickly to my international customers! Great app, simple to install and a doddle to set up. It automatically blends in with the look of our theme and makes everything so much clearer for the customer. Is just what we were looking for - WOW!
