Riskified

Riskified provides an essential component in the e-commerce arena: risk assessment and fraud protection. Prior to implementing Riskified, fraud was a big problem for us, and manually inspecting each order was consuming a significant amount of my team's time and energy. Riskified has solved that problem and alleviated our concerns in one fell swoop, leaving us free to do business without wasted time or concern for risky transactions! Now, with the ability to control payment authorization and acceptance based on their risk assessments, I don't have to worry about refunding fraudulent transactions as those payments are never even completed! If you have any problems with fraud or have ever had chargebacks, I strongly encourage you to give Riskified a go!

I'm getting more concerned using this app now due to an order that was prior approved then being declined after shipment. The app allows for users to update addresses to check to make sure the new address is safe. Well I had an international customer that I couldn't confirm the out of country address so I asked them for another and I input that info just to check with Shopify's shipping label address check to see if that would change the address status and Riskified delined even though I switched back to the original approved address for that order. It makes me wonder how many shipments I've sent out that won't be covered. Now they won't cover their initial approval of the address that I actually shipped to.

Wonderful! I only have used this for a couple of my orders that looked sketchy, but it was so nice to have an option instead of bothering the customer with verification questions or declining what could be a good order. Riskified takes the guess work out. Guarantees your money and only charges a small fee for this. Chargebacks would cost a whole lot more! I highly recommend this for every online merchant!

Fabulous App!! A definite must have for anyone using Shopify! Easy to Install. Support is great and quick to respond! Credit card fraud is serious business in the ecommerce world. Whether it's taking a financial hit in chargebacks or the double loss of losing our inventory in a fraud order, there is so little, if any, protection for us and we always lose to the credit card companies and the thieves. I've had an online business since '97 and I'm thrilled that there's someone finally watching out for us! Thank you!!

The worst app ever. First I was invited to use this app by the Riskified.com. After a short time of using they have asked for credit card details. I have inserted all the details and I have continued to continue the app. Yesterday when I tried to login in to my Dashboard I was unable, saying: "Incorrect email or password" and I never changed any details. I tried to contact the Riskified team few times and no answer. Now I'm very worried about my bank details I left in the hand of this people. I will contact the Shopify team to get future help! The Riskified team is great! Their software helps detect a lot of fraudulent orders and they are good at screening. Has saved us countless time and headaches.

ATTENTION: Stay away from this Israel based company! This is is a real bad example of a company promising a lot and generating a lot of positive feedbacks, but when it comes to reality they keep nothing!!! Here our story: (1) We had several contacts Riskified BEFORE considering going with that company and installing that app. They always want to call you on get you quickly in the boat. We insisted on written information to have something in the hand in case things would not work out as promised! It took already several rounds to get even a clear PRICE information, a big drawback already at the start, where other fraud protecting company's are clear right from the beginning! But finally we were set and made made the decision to go with them. (2) Installation is easy BUT then the next big hammer: They want your credit card info during the set up and that via an UNSUPPORTED and UNSECURE pop-up window, which was automatically blocked by our PC Internet Security Software - God sake!! That completely damaged our TRUST in that company: How can a fraud protection supplier want to have your own credit card information over dubious connections?? Would you trust such a company? (3) We immediately contacted the company several times over the next 24 hours: NO response at all! We called our first contact: He pormised to clarify the situation and never came back. All subsequent phone calls were blocked (on purpose). We do not want to image what would have happened with such a partner in case of a real urgent fraud?? (4) We finally received an email stating that due to Riskified's checks they would not be able to offer us their service LOL!!! That's how that company treats critical customer, OOHHHAAA. Summary: We can just recommend to every new store: Stay away from these guys and choose a more reliable partner. We finally went over to their direct competitor Sign.... and what a difference: All questions answered in 30 minutes, easy install and a SECURE link for the credit card info upload; that's how it has to be!!! Service meqans zero fraud liability (insurance) for slightly more than at R. (for 1% instead of 0.7%), but clear, honest and so far reliable. We fianlly are happy to dealwith a trust-worthy partner, who by the way informed us, that our first shot seems to not take any new customer in 2015 anymore at all; Surprise ....

Great App! We have been working with the Riskified team for more than a year. Not once have they let us down. They always offer 5 star service. Fast reliable and supportive. We really dont know, how many times we would be in trouble, if we weren't using Riskified, to avoid all those fraud attempts that regularly hit luxury online stores. After more than a year as a customer, we find out that our account has been deactivated without warning so they could change the pricing model, no longer offering a "pay-per-use" service but requiring a minimum monthly fee of $200 instead. How is it that current blog resources on their live site, advertised pricing information provided through the Shopify app store, and app reviews as recently as 2 weeks ago all still promote this 'no-longer-supported' pricing plan? Albeit we are a very small customer for them (only sending the few orders per quarter that we are pretty confident are fraudulent as a last step before canceling/refunding them)...it's disappointing that we've continued to receive bi-monthly emails from Riskified about their services and industry updates, yet they would fail to mention in any form of communication to us these changes in pricing, and also forget to notify us that we are no longer their customer. How did we find out about the deactivation? Attempted to submit an order for review and found the password has been changed and can't be reset. So they need more money for their services -- we get it. The new pricing plan might even make sense for us after some consideration, but the implementation (account deactivation?!) was poorly thought through and not a good indicator of what we can expect as a customer moving forward. Anybody else experiencing this recently? This is an unexpected bummer.

I wish there were more stars to give. Support is unbelievably fast and within the first day they verified and prevented fraudulent transactions not caught by standard Shopify verification processes.

I would strongly recommend Riskified to all merchants as an added tool to prevent fraud. With different payment tiers that fit each merchant, Riskified is a cost-effective solution to reduce fraud and maximize order conversion. They take the guess work out of fraud screening and reduce inaccurate order reversals (orders that are reversed because they might be fraudulent, but are not).

A totally indispensable app - simple to use, fast responses, and most of all can save a lot of hassle and money !

We love it. Resolving a charge back is quick and easy. We like that it only takes a few steps to resolve a charge back. Saves a lot of time and makes it easy for our staff.

We ship worldwide, and this has caused many problems for us when it comes to fraud, this app is great and is definitely the answer. We were skeptical at first, however it has proven useful time and again. The pricing is extremely reasonable and is well worth the minor percentage compared to hundred's of Euro's.

A great application that is highly recommended for any store! Great service and helps protect us from potential fraudulent orders which we've unfortunately experienced before we started using Riskified, but since then we've been able to authorize orders with ease.

this is a no brainer. after being scammed a few times i needed to find a solution. riskified is that solution. excellent customer service as well. every ecommerce store needs this.

Best app ever. Now I do not have to worry about accepting international orders. No more charge back or fraudulent orders!
