Details

Shopify's "one per customer" only counts accounts and emails. Anyone with a second email gets your welcome discount again and you never see it happen. OnceOnly first shows how much of it went to repeat buyers over 12 months. Then it recognises the same person behind a new email and address and rejects the protected code or lets it through and tags the order. No Shopify Plus required. Only checksums are stored, never plain text. Servers in the EU.
