Okendo: Reviews & Loyalty

Okendo has been a useful platform for managing customer reviews and integrating them into our Shopify store. The interface is generally easy to navigate, and the integration with Shopify makes managing and displaying reviews fairly straightforward. There are some limitations when it comes to customization and review management. Certain processes, such as manually grouping products and managing reviews across similar styles, can be time-consuming. Pricing and plan limitations are also worth considering as your business scales. One of the highlights of our experience with Okendo has been the customer support. Laura Ann McCarthy has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable whenever we've had questions or needed guidance. Her support has made navigating the platform and addressing challenges much easier. Overall, Okendo is a solid review platform that gets the job done, but there is room for improvement in flexibility, efficiency, and pricing. The customer support has definitely been a positive part of our experience.

Huge fan of Okendo! Marissa has been a great resource over the years, always lets us know when there are new features and takes the time to walk us through how to set everything up! Highly recommend if you're a small business looking for a review platform.

UPDATE 3/24/2023- I have been using this app a couple years now and it has definitely contributed to an increase in sales to my store. Customer support has been super quick to help me with any questions that arise. Definitely recommend! I have used many different review apps in the past. They all would miss some of the key features I desired for my online store. Okendo has EVERYTHING you would like from a review app. It's professionally designed, automatically sends review request emails to your customer by your desired time frames, plus customer service is amazing! I have seen a big increase in sales as well since starting last month. 100% Recommend!

We’ve been using Okendo across our three brands and it’s been a really solid experience. It’s pretty easy to use, and getting reviews set up and live on our site is usually a smooth process. Reviews are a big part of marketing our old and new products that we’re constantly promoting in new ways. Also have to shout out our CSM, Kelsey, who’s been great to work with. Super responsive and very helpful, which makes a big difference. Overall, it’s been a really valuable tool for us and something we rely on pretty heavily!

Okendo is a core part of our CX stack. The review widgets look polished on our storefront and fit our brand, and the Shopify integration was easy to set up. Beyond displaying reviews, the data has become one of our most valuable sources of customer insight.Overall, a great choice for any DTC brand that wants reviews to do more than sit on a product page.

We've been with Okendo for years now. Laura Ann has always been so helpful—from onboarding to sharing the latest features and launches with us, she's been a great resource and a pleasure to connect with. We love Okendo for nurturing our existing customers with a loyalty program that not only gives back but can evolve as we expand, and the reviews + survey portion is great for our customer support team to listen to customer feedback so we can always make educated decisions.

UPDATE: It takes MONTHS to get them to remove their metafields from your site. We are STILL fighting this. Potential customers need to be aware that when using this app: 1. Metafields are added to the site that can not be removed. 2. These metafields prevent you from being able to use Shopify's Duplicate Product feature. Which means when adding new products every single one will need to be created from scratch. 3. It takes WEEKS to get the metafield removed from your site once you realize you mistake in adding this app

I love everything about this service. Looks great on my website and has lots of extra features. Any questions or confusions and the super awesome Jade sorts it out for me :) Their customer service team is 100%

The app is super easy to use and anybody can figure out the basics. The team however will help you unleash and open what's possible with Okendo and reveal what you may not know. To get the most out of Okendo, you should definitely work with the rep or do your research.

The app itself is fairly user friendly and I love all the options and customization it allows. Looking forward to gaining more customer insights. I will say the onboarding process has not been my favorite I feel like they are pushing through and not helping with best practices or ensuring its properly installed. Hopefully the customer service moving forward is even better. I would 4.5 stars if I could just a half star off for the onboarding, because everything else, so far, is great.
