LoyaltyLion Loyalty Program

I've used many loyalty apps and solutions over the past 10 years. Loyalty Lion imo is becoming a leader in the space. Support is strong and pricing reasonable. They now integrate well with Shopify 2.0 pages as well.

Our CSM Hannah is always ready with all the answers I need to keep our loyalty program running smoothly and the customer support team is also so thorough with their investigations! It gives us confidence that this program will continue to benefit our business into the future.

Really great support from Alexandra at LoyaltyLion. She was incredibly helpful, responsive and took the time to look into our issue thoroughly, providing a clear breakdown and helping us get everything resolved. Really appreciate the support and would definitely recommend!

I’ve recently launched our loyalty program using LoyaltyLion and have had a really positive experience so far. The platform is easy to use and gives you plenty of flexibility to customise how customers earn and redeem points, while still keeping everything simple to manage on the backend. The setup process was straightforward, and whenever I’ve had questions, the support team has been really helpful and responsive. I also love how seamlessly the program integrates with our Shopify store and allows us to create a loyalty experience that feels aligned with our brand. Really happy with LoyaltyLion so far and excited to see how our rewards program grows!

We received an audit and follow up call from Duraan from LoyaltyLion. We have used the platform across the last number of years and wanted to ensure all of the capabilities were optimised. We used this app for about over a year, they have basic reward features with old technology and limited features. This is NOT the best reward program within the Shopify app store. Their tech is really lagging and its really old school and a bit basic. I also did not like support either, they try to tell you what to do. Not a good experience and I have switched to a much better program for our stores rewards that is more modern and has a better system.

Have been with this app for 2 years. Function wise, it is very good, very handy with a lot of power functions and very stale, did not see any issue so far. The only thing i have to complaint is the pricing. The small business bundle is 159, I dont believe it is affordable for most of the SME, though they do offer to purchase by module, but compare to other app, it still seems too high. Guess this app is to design with luxury for enterprise:)

For the features that you can get for free I would probably give this five stars. It looks very professional and installs easily. I am interested in several of the paid features, but having tested them during the free trial period they seem very unfinished to me. The email feature in particular is very expensive and hasn't worked out the way that I hoped. The code that you can embed in your store to show the points a buyer will receive is also limited to the points for dollars feature and doesn't work with extra points for specific products or categories. They did say they'll be adding this, but as of now it isn't there and there is no target date. For US based users, tech support hours are very limited. You send in a request, they answer it overnight, and then if you need to reply it's another 24-hours cycle. No complaints about the support, it's just frustratingly slow due to the time difference. I think this app has a lot of potential but it does still need some work in order for shops to offer a robust loyalty program. UPDATE: Downgraded my star rating for the following reasons: The app awards points for sales tax paid, not just for the purchased item. This is just outright wrong, sales tax should not be rewarded. I couldn't get the birthday feature to work. I'd enter a birthday and then come back to view it and the data would be gone. Plus they ask for a year on the birthday, which isn't necessary for the feature but it will prevent many people from participating. I would have loved to use this feature but didn't want to spend on more time debugging it. The newsletter signup feature doesn't integrate with any email programs (such as Mailchimp) so they can't actually verify that the customer signed up for email. They only know that the customer clicked on a button. This is definitely not worth awarding points. The code that you can embed on your product page to show the points a buyer will receive doesn't work with multiple variants. It shows zero points. There might be a workaround for this, I don't know because I didn't want to spend any more time on it given the other problems with the feature mentioned in my original review. I never could get the email statements to send so I had to give up on it. This should have been a must-have feature because it gives customers a reason to return to your site. Individual features are hugely overpriced for what you get. This app has so much potential but right now they are waaay over promising. I'm a paying customer and I have been in contact with tech support. So far I haven't been able to resolve any of these issues. If I hadn't advertised the program to my customers I would be uninstalling it right now.

The dashboard is really easy to understand and, with the help from the very friendly and knowledgeable Kasia from the Customer Success team, we were able to get the programme set up very quickly. I look forward to seeing what our customers think!

We paid a premium for their best plan and highest level of implementation help. Unfortunately the program is still not working and the message I just got from customer service was: "we are UK based and it is now Friday evening, therefore the developers will not be able to do this until after the weekend." I do wish that I could cancel the plan and get my money back. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to pay for a year upfront. The tragedy is that the platform really does show some promise--the failure is mostly with the support staff and how they deal with issues, and the lack of support outside of UK business hours.

Was excited when we started using this, but then it does not offer what we did compared with its competitors. This is also getting so much spam accounts.

We have been really pleased with Loyalty Lion so far, the setup was easy and they are quick to offer answers and help. Our customers have enjoyed the features, as well. Will update as we use it more! Update, 10 months in: although we are leaving Loyalty Lion it's truly not them, it's us. We are a small team of less than 10 people and currently deep in changing our website, the back end of our organization and doing a deep dive into our informational pages and we need to focus our energies on that instead of other programs. It's a great platform that I found easy to navigate and I enjoyed being able to add in so many reward options. The team was always quick to respond and easy to work with. If you are interested in a platform with a TON of customization options and features and a responsive team, this is the one for you.

Just a great app, so easy to use and very straightforward. Free plan is generous and means they have a customer for life here. Works great if you have a lot of return customers. Only downside is that you can't exclude more than one product category from earning points. If there was more control there, this would be the perfect product. UPDATE! - just got an email from customer services who explained how I could do the one thing that I thought I couldn't in the review above. Just awesome guys, thank you so much - Loyalty Lion is now perfect!

After much deliberation on what loyalty app to use for my reward program, I ended up choosing Loyalty Lion and am extremely happy with the results. The amount of custom support I received to make my loyalty program seem like an extension of my brand, as opposed to an afterthought widget was incredible. Some important things that separate Loyalty Lion from the competition are: • Ability to embed panel into a custom page/account page • Integration with Limespot app • In-depth analytics • Best price I look forward to updating this review as the year goes on.

We just launched but we anticipate an instant ROI because this make the process of using points and discounts directly on teh checkout page. Excited to see it work. The customer service team is fantastic as well!

Setting up and customizing was made a lot easier with the help of Kasia and the team at Loyalty Lion. There are so many features and integrations on this platform, and we're so excited to see the difference this makes on our store!

Works great! Easily installed. The first app that I didn't need help with. Fingers crossed that it actually helps with sales now.
