With so many apps to sort through it can be difficult to really determine which ones are the must-have additions to your store. We have tested numerous set-ups and companies over 24 months have finally narrowed it down to what we think are right additions. Limespot Personalizer fits the bill as one technology you should consider. If you are on the fence about adding LS, read on and I’ll be happy to share the top-level reasons why you can rest assured. About three months ago we were migrating to a completely new theme and V3 for Sexyshoes.com. We were focused on three key components; Drag on speed, Service/Support, and simplicity of use with desired results. After testing on our beta site, we were able to confirm the JS and speed drags were minimal, if even barely noticeable. There are never any gyrations in response times either which indicated a stable consistent response time to result the sliders into our store. Page speed scores were not penalized, and we decided to moved forward to the next point on the checklist. Support is where this company really shines. I must say we are not an easy customer and require our partners to provide a high level of expertise, knowledge, and support. Michelle was outstanding and was there every step of the way. Not just by tickets/email; we are talking scheduled phone calls, testing on the beta site, and ultimately right through the live tests within our schedule to avoid significant customer interruptions. She was able to take our mock ups and create a matching feel to our theme that is top notch and exactly to the specifications we designed. Michelle was also there through over 50 emails and a month of ramp up. Their customer support alone would be a reason to pull the trigger. What’s the result here though? Since we don’t incorporate variant colors within the same product, we wanted a solution which would allow for the other colors to be shown as sliders on product pages, as well as suggested items to increase sales. The algorithm they use to accomplishes this well. With little time on our end, the app almost always nails it on getting the customer to see the other variations, which accomplishes a lot if you prefer to show your products individually within collection pages, as we do. The recently viewed sliders are a must have and no brainer, but the various options and set ups to show similar items, trending, upselling, etc. via numerous sliders works logically with very little time. The system learns your products quickly and presents what you want the customers to see, creating a method to show more of your products in a way that increases overall revenue of the store. To that end, the million-dollar question would be what kind of impact does this app really make? For us we have enjoyed a 22% increase in sales directly related to this app. So, the claims are true! If you want to increase your business by similar amounts, or if not greater numbers (we limit the number of sliders for our particular set up), then give the company a go. Great app! Ms. Ryanna helped me integrate this app with another one. This app increased my sales conversion in just a few days of installation. Better than other upsell / cross sell apps i tried before. I can hide / prioritize which products to promote. You just install and the app will do the rest. UPDATE I had another issue with the images in Personalizer, and Reymond helped me with my query immediately. thank you so much for the excellent service!

Update 04/25/20 Popular item boxes on collection pages now rarely update, even when manually syncing. So I've now removed those as well. Limespot's removed the product analytics from the free version also, not much reason to hang on to this app much longer. Still using it for boxes on my blogs, since it's free, but if I can find something to substitute for it I'll drop this app altogether. If you have issues with Limespot I recommend checking out Globo Upsell Related Products, works right out of the box, amazing recommendations and have had zero issues. **Update** 02/01/20 Had to remove the related item boxes from my product pages as support could never fix the issue and I got tired of waiting. Now using Globo Upsell app and am very pleased with it, worked right out of the box with really good recommendations, something I could never say about Limespot which I've had nothing but issues with from day one. Now having problems with Popular boxes on the collection pages not properly updating. Once again Limespot can never seem to fix these issues timely. Luckily I'm not paying anything for this app because it's not generating any revenue, if I had to pay for it I would have uninstalled long ago. If you have a small amount of products this app may work for you. But it doesn't seem to be able to handle stores with a few hundred to thousands of products. **Update** 10/4/19 May have figured out why this app never generates sales for me, on a collection with over 1,300 products I just discovered it has the same dozen Related Items on each... so on my biggest collection the app is not doing it's job basically it's randomly selecting a dozen products and using them in the same order on every product page... this is no better than the bare bones version that came with my Shopify theme. ** I've been using LimeSpot for over two years and have seen no improvement in sales. Perhaps it's my unique setup as I have thousands of products and only one quantity of each. I've had many discussions with support and they all end in the same way, they offer to setup my website so I have boxes everywhere (essentially SPAMing my own site) or they try to give me a bizarre explanation about how their algorithm works. Simply put, if an item gets one view and one add to cart it gets a recognized as a highly popular product, where a product that gets 40 to 50 views doesn't register as popular at all. So currently on my most popular items in my largest collection of over 1,000 products I have a bunch of products that have a few views and they've been there for over a month, whereas products that are getting a lot of views are not being highlighted at all. To me that's flawed. So I've basically had to just remove all those because they are useless and rarely ever change. I'm only keeping the app around because I like the blog integration, the related items on the products pages are better than Shopify's (which just showed the first products from the collection on every product page) and I'm not paying anything for it (because it's not making me any money). I'd uninstall it immediately if I had to go back to paying a monthly charge.

An easy to use app to add to your site, and the customer service is excellent. Response time to questions is almost immediate and very thorough, wish every company today operated like that! Thank you!

Great app!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking to customize their up-sell game. I really like how you can select what you want to go on each page. Seamless integration. And the customer service team is top notch. Speedy and knowledgeable service.
