New in 2.6: rent in fixed periods of 2 to 365 days, not only whole weeks, and let HyreKit assign a physical unit to each paid order - the one returning soonest - with its own lock code, never shown to the customer (Premium plan). Weekly rate with a one-time starting cost, and customers extend a booking themselves from the return reminder. HyreKit rents by date range: equipment hire, party rental, and inventory that comes back. Track each unit: serial, rental count, engine hours, service log.
