I was very skeptical about trying this initially since we needed to offer a higher cash back value than our initial discount. But wow, I am very glad I did. We did not see any drops in CRs while also saving quite a bit of money (not to mention AOVs went up!). I also love that we can offer gift cards to our customers to incentivize them to come back and purchase again instead of the visa cards. Also a huge shoutout to Will and the team - they are incredibly responsive and on top of any issues or questions we've run into. Do yourselves a favor and split test this immediately against your current % off offer - you won't regret it.

I was super curious about using cashback vs. regular coupons. I am blown away by the results! Email signups on the welcome popup are UP, AOV is UP, and the Repurchase rate is UP; all this while spending less money than with regular coupons! If you're curious to test cashback, I highly recommend GetFondue. We were hesitant at first, but the team at Fondue fully set up our first A/B test on Attentive and Klaviyo, followed up with us with results, and even created custom walkthroughs to help us take the reigns and set up further A/B tests.
