Our store used ByteStand for over a year to automatically fulfil our Shopify orders from Amazon through MCF. We tried several Shopify-to-Amazon solutions, and ByteStand was, by far and without a doubt, the best one we used. The app automatically synced our product inventory from Amazon to Shopify and kept tracking information up to date. The platform genuinely helped us expand our operation, but what really stood out was the support. Cara and the entire ByteStand team went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth experience. Their customer service was unrivalled. I cannot speak highly enough of the app, Cara, or the ByteStand team, and I highly recommend them.

really great support if anything is a tad bit confusing just fire up a chat
great help
I can not recommend the app and especially the service provided. We have a running shop and implemented the app. First we never, after several tries got a full setup from the guys. We asked them several times for a detailed documentation about the linking. They couldnt provide and just showed us one crappy video. Then we had some extended requirements about EU wide shipping and different charges. Its not supported. If you sell FBA and FBM you will get in a lot of trouble. Then we deleted the app and all the settings were broken. Just a big mess up. Just to let everyone know. Its a very crucial process with the app and the support is really bad. Thats a reason I wouldnt go for these guys. How can you offer something like this and not even provide a complete documentation for a setup?! Thats in no way professional. And then you get one reply every day. Good luck to get this running.
We have sold on Amazon since 2018 and the apps work perfectly for our business. Amazon import and FBA shipping. Trick is to watch the video guides. Once you have everything setup you can then ask the support team to check everything over. Byte stand were able to login to our store remotely and provide screen shot step by steps. Support provided by Cara was absolutely top notch. This is why we are giving a 5 star review.
Used this app for a while. Occasionally it wouldn't allow customers to complete their purchase claiming that we didn't ship to the UK. Approx 2% of orders affected. Shopify adamant problem isn't with them. Tried to get Bytestand to look into the problem but after hearing nothing on the subject have given up. Voting with our feet and moving to another app which also offer inventory synchronization.
UPDATE The 90 day free trial was a promo made available by the company, I was not "given" it as a gesture by them. Seems like they're annoyed that offer existed! The company's response exemplifies the attitude you will experience. Check out other critical reviews to for much of the same. No response on the bugs either, so I guess that should say enough! ---- Cara is a wonderful support rep that's conscientious and hard working, any issue we ever experienced that she could help with was resolved by her speedily, with care & true professionalism. Unfortunately, I cannot say the values of the company. We rolled past our free trial by a total of 4 days over the holiday period and therefore fell into a paid period. After experiencing a few bugs and gaps in the product we had already stopped using it, we asked for a courteous refund but the company refused even though it's clear we'd stopped using the app before this date from our usage logs. Bugs & holes include: - inventory update feature not correctly updating which cost us a few days in sales as it would keep marking products out of stock - painful in Q4 - unable to remove markets from billing without the developer - pricing updates only match list price, not sale price of amazon listings - made this function impossible to as the primary function is to match up Amazon sale pricing to shopify store Ultimately given we didn't use the product for those 4 or so days & one of the paid features didn't function correctly throughout, it would have been reasonable of the company to refund. I would be glad to remove the negative areas of my review if this can be resolved. I'm not sure that $100 is worth souring a relationship.
All the necessary features are extra paid. Don't waste your time as it's not worth it. Stock sync - 35 dollars, orders sync 25 dollars, app 35 dollars... big no!
this app is not transparent about their pricing. I had to spend a lot of time using it before i could figure out how much it was actually going to cost me. It the end, this app would cost me 4x the price of other apps i've already used, that do the same thing. Frustrating because it's just a waste of my time. Make a good product and be transparent. Pricing is only visible once you’re connected everything and spent time setting it up. It took a long conversation with the chat agent to even figure out the costing. “Starting at 25$/markletplace would” might be a transparent way to communicate. No need to obscure the pricing. It just makes you look bad.
Awesome!!! FAST AND PROFESSIONAL!!! Good service. The support resolved issue and explained step by step.
Great service with a great product and pretty easy to use. Worth the price. Give it a trial run and see.
I wanted to like this app, but it didn't meet expectations. As a small shop with just a few SKUs, I hoped for a simple solution to handle Amazon MCF fulfillment. Unfortunately, getting it to work required more effort than expected. The manual fulfillment setup was confusing and not intuitive. Orders didn't show up at first, and when I finally got one in, the fulfillment failed due to a vague "Invalid Rate Name" error. It took several emails and a custom troubleshooting video from support to figure it out. ByteStand's support rep, Cara, was helpful and responsive. Still, it's telling that store access is often needed, which suggests the app is not designed with ease of use in mind. The interface also feels clunky and outdated. It makes navigation harder than it should be. Important settings like "Flex" and rate mapping are buried in confusing menus, and there is no real dashboard overview or SKU table to give you confidence that everything is working properly. Then there's the pricing. The app looks like it starts at $25 per month, but it only includes basic fulfillment with fixed manual rates. If you want core features like inventory syncing, which should be standard, you must upgrade to at least $40 per month. It adds up quickly. The pricing structure is not transparent; other users have pointed out the same issue in their reviews. Ultimately, I removed the app. If you're a large store with technical resources, it's worth the setup time and extra costs. But this probably isn't it for small businesses looking for a smooth, affordable solution.
Feedback we would like escalated to your product team We want to be direct about how this reached us, because we think it is a design problem rather than a mistake on either side. Enabling Flex is a migration, and the app does not present it as one. It replaces the fulfillment location, leaves Sync permissions unapproved, and requires a Rate Card that exists nowhere in Shopify — three separate setup steps, none of them obvious. In the interface it reads as a tab you can look at, not a change that reconfigures how the store fulfils orders. There was no warning at the point of enabling. No confirmation step, no summary of what would change, no list of what had to be set up afterwards. We would ask you to open the app yourself and look at how this is presented — from the merchant's side it is genuinely unclear that clicking through commits you to anything. And once enabled but unconfigured, nothing in the app said so. ByteStand continued to report as connected and healthy. There was no banner, no incomplete-setup state, no error. The only visible symptom was in Shopify, days later, and it took us fifteen days to trace it back to your app. What that cost us: fifteen days with no order reaching Amazon, twelve consecutive days in which not a single customer could complete checkout, twelve orders created by hand in Seller Central by our customer service team, and customers left without tracking information. We found it because a customer complained — not because any system told us. On the 2025 emails: we understand they were sent, and we do not doubt it. But an email campaign from eighteen months ago is not a safeguard. The person who received it may no longer be at the company — that is exactly our situation — and the setting remained one click away for whoever came next, with no warning attached to it. What we would ask for: A confirmation step when Flex is enabled, stating plainly that it is an upgrade, what it changes, and what must be configured before fulfillment resumes. A persistent in-app warning while Flex is enabled and setup is incomplete. Alerting when inventory sync stops or order submission fails. We are glad to be running again and your support today was genuinely excellent. We are raising this because the next merchant to click that button will lose the same two weeks, and they may not catch it as quickly as we did. I like how straight forward and easy to use this app is. It's fantastic and extremely helpful. The technical support is extraordinary especially Cara, and the turnaround time for responses are first class! I would recommend this app to anyone using Amazon's FBA.
Cara helped me a lot with my mall problem. Perfect service and an amazing up, upgrade your store and integrate with these guys, they are amazing!
This app is perfect for us, it does exactly what we needed it to do for our website! Cara is the best!
Had a problem with the checkout shipping error. Cara helped me out. Always had a good experience with the app & customer support.
The shipping charges at checkout were not showing up. However, thanks to Cara's prompt and excellent customer service, it is working now.
It might not look that realistic seeing all these 5 star reviews mentioning Cara, but honest truth this app does what you think it should (except for sync stock, but there's another Bytestand app for that) and the support is next level. Really amazing for shipping inside the EU
