Country Blocker Fraud Securify

Our store is multi-language and the block message was only showing in English. Support helped me set up language-specific block messages — French for blocked French-speaking countries, Spanish for Latin America, and so on. Small detail that makes the block experience feel considered rather than lazy.

Worried that blocking countries would hurt our SEO because Google crawls from various locations. Support confirmed that search engine crawlers are whitelisted by default and showed me where to verify the whitelist. Our search rankings haven't changed since enabling blocking, which was my main concern.

This is security I can trust for my boutique. I kept getting targeted by people from other countries who claimed they wanted to assist me, but they were really after my website. Securify was conflicting with our Shopify password protection page. Support investigated and found the load order was causing blocked visitors to see the password page instead of the block message. They adjusted the script priority and now blocked visitors see the correct block page. Technical issue that I never would have figured out myself.

Requested email alerts for traffic spikes from blocked countries. Support configured the threshold alerts — I get an email whenever blocked attempts from a single country exceed 50 in an hour. Caught an attempted bot attack from a region we'd blocked within the first week. The early warning is genuinely useful.

We launched in Australia and needed to remove it from the block list while keeping historical data for comparison. Support showed me how to archive a rule instead of deleting it — the block stops but the historical traffic data stays accessible. Exactly the approach I wanted but didn't know how to ask for.

Created a redirect for blocked countries but it was causing an infinite loop because the landing page was on the same domain. Support diagnosed the loop in about two minutes, helped me exclude the landing page URL from the blocking rules, and the redirect started working properly. Quick turnaround on what felt like a complex issue.

Needed to redirect EU visitors to a subdomain instead of blocking them. Support configured the redirect rules for the specific countries and tested each one with me to confirm they landed on the right version. All 27 EU countries redirect correctly, and non-EU visitors see the main store. Exactly the compliance setup we needed.

Our fraud team wanted the blocked visitor log exported to CSV for their own analysis tools. Support pointed me to the data export feature and helped me set up a weekly automatic export to email. Now the fraud team gets their data every Monday morning without me having to do anything. The automation aspect was a nice bonus.

Still evaluating FREE version. Provides IP blocking that I needed ASAP. Good real-time monitoring and reporting. Other features available as well if needed. Thanks for making this app available

Asked about datacenter IP and proxy detection beyond standard VPNs. Support explained how the proxy detection database works and which types of proxies it can identify. Turned it on and our suspicious order rate dropped measurably. They didn't oversell the feature — they told me exactly what it catches and what slips through.

Wanted to block by device type after noticing suspicious desktop-only orders at odd hours. Support explained device-based blocking isn't available but suggested combining the visitor log data with time-based patterns to identify fraud. They helped me set up a custom analytics view to track it. Creative problem-solving even when the exact feature doesn't exist.

Customer service was helpful but the app simply didn't work. I initially contacted to see if my app was properly embedded because I couldn't even block my own IP address. After much back and forth it was discovered my devices are sending an ipv6 address. However I put in both the ipv6 and ipv4 ip addresses to test this app on not only my own ip but another many states away within the same country. I was suggested to upgrade twice within the troubleshooting. But it did not work. I have to leave a low review as I was asked multiple times to leave a review yet my issue was not resolved.
