My business has a fairly complicated custom ordering process with multiple product options, measurements, fabric choices, uploads, and other details that need to work together smoothly. We used this app for over 3 years. Early on, it helped solve real customization needs. However, its core implementation is now outdated. The app creates real Shopify variants (D#) that are hidden in Admin UI but persist via APIs, carts, feeds, and Google Shopping. These variants pollute product data and cannot be reliably cleaned. Support denied responsibility and only suggested workarounds. We are forced to rebuild every affected product to fully remove the legacy data. One star due to unresolvable technical debt and lack of effective support.

This app is a lifesaver send Shopify doesn't provide any type of traditional custom options. and the great thing about this app is that it can use templates which is great for having thousands of products associated with one template instead of having to change the options a thousand times. this developer is great even when we used them for Magento and they ported their DPO up to Shopify where it's been great. The DPO developer team is always fast to solve problems and this app also has a support ticket system in the Shopify admin which is very convenient and allows them to quickly solve any issues. Thank you for making this custom option app :)

I dont usually write reviews, but when I do, im fair and square! If you are struggling with options and option forms in general then read this review cause you wont understand things fully until you read all of it. For starters we had our online store with Shopify for over a year, sadly there are many apps out there that destroy your performance, slow down your website or simply do a half job. First of all 99% of options apps dont allow a discount code to be implemented but this one actually does. This is also the only app that i promise you doesnt even ask you to install anything lmao. The last option app we used took us over 4 hours to install and we gave up contacted support and waited 2 days because of the time difference. Not this one! Those guys respond from 7am pst to 4pm pst, im not against anyone located outside our zone, but im against responding in 48 hours even though you chose a North American Market. They even have a build in Ticketing software, and they respond with good and helpful solutions. I asked for hard coding cause i got greedy how good this app is and they still satisfied me. I strongly recommend the $29 version because it will help you with templates. They also have a really really nice documentation to help you step by step. Ladies and Gents, this is it, if you dont want to waste more money on things that dont work, give those guys a try. I know for sure this app will get over 1k reviews within a year or less. Amazing app, works perfect for us! We sell tubes that we sawn to size. With this app the customer can directly add any size they want. We also use this for advertising-frames and furniture. This is all custom made, with this app they fill in any size, material, and color they want. They add some upsell products and can upload all the needed files. Also many thanks to the amazing support, Roman you are really good and helpful. In the app you can easily add a support ticket. The replies are fast and directly have the answer we are looking for. The BEST app for displaying options. FANTASTIC, quick clear support. If you need customs options, this is the one to use! A little tricky to start, but as I say, support is fast and great.

I could not find an app to do what I wanted for our pricing structure. Most Tiered pricing apps will force your pricing to within a "range" of x price for 1-5 and 'y' price for 6-12. I wanted to be able to price out shirts on a SINGLE price point, if they bought a 6 PACK at a 13% discount, and then a full case of shirts at 72 pieces to get a 18% discount. So, if someone ordered 100 shirts, they would get CASE pricing on 1 Case (of 72), they would get 6-PACK Bundle pricing on 24 shirts (four 6-PACKS), and then 4 SINGLE Priced shirts. Only DYNAMIC PRODUCT OPTIONS let me do this with a math equation that did exactly what I needed. It then averages the price of the shirts out based on this formula. Plus, their support was SUPERB! Prompt, efficient, and very helpful. They got me up and running within a couple of hours on my theme that wasn't full compatible - but we got it working. Kudos to the group that made this APP.

So, I've been using this app for about 7 months. This is the best app for product option customizations on Shopify. Every other similar app is always missing something, or it's complicated to set up. I've had the best experience with the Dynamic Product - almost anything you can come up with as an option, it'll be available. Loads super fast on your website - you get to customize product on product page and in the checkout cart. We're selling custom gift baskets and other gifts - the app gives us almost every option you'll need, keeps track of the inventory, adds weight to a product, etc. The customer service is outstanding - easy to chat with, fast, and professional. Romans has been helping me with the setup - any time I needed something he'll just reply with a coupe line of codes and we're all set. The best part is - the app doesn't hard code into your theme. All coding you need is done within the app itself. It could be different for every product and the guys will take care of it. Don't look anywhere else - I highly recommend it!

UPDATE: Don't use the feature "Hide SKU from Cart and Order." It will make your reporting completely useless later on. The app has been great up to this point, but after realizing I can't pull accurate reports for this past four months, I'm upset that that feature did not come with a warning because I thought I was just making packing slips easier to read, not completely removing data. it said "hide," not "remove from reporting existence." The solution was to subscribe to ANOTHER paid app to get the reports since Shopify can't natively pull the data. I'm disappointed because the app has been great except for this, which is VERY important to our business operations. I'm not going to remove my 5 stars due to previous service, but I think this is important for other users to know. ORIGINAL: I've honestly never liked the line, "I'd give it 10 stars if I could!" After working with Dynamic Product Options I can understand why people would say this. Yes, I would give it 10 stars if I could. I was asked to help migrate a store to Shopify, but the lack of options with regards to the "options" was depressing. The store I worked on sells items that can be purchased separately or as part of a bundle. If purchased as part of a bundle, the inventory had to be tracked correctly, and allow for the easy updating of items and prices as needed. I spent many weeks searching through Apps to find something that, quite honestly, should be a standard feature in Shopify. The folks that wrote this App have done an amazing job. I'm not a programmer, but I can tell they thought of future expansion and the one-off needs of customers who use the App. The support I've received from DPO in regards to this App has been top notch. Unless it's something in the Shopify code that prevents it, the support people have helped me get everything working in the way the client wanted.

Everything I have been looking for in an app + more. No other app can do what these guys are capable.

This is my third website using this App. The app does everything plus more. Needing complex calculations etc. I'am not able to code or create the formulas which is out of my depth ... but the support team are happy to do it for you as long as you let them know what you need.

The app and the roman support is incredible. With the help of roman we have managed to do some things that were previously inconceivable in shopify. Super recommended
