Dcart ‑ Discount in Cart

We have been looking for an app that can show the discounted subtotal at the cart page as some customers who use mobile reported they cannot find where to input discount code. We have tried out several discount code apps and decided to go with Dcart as it is most cost-effective and Arthur from the support team has been really helpful. After we install the app, there was a conflict between our theme and the app - as the theme cannot show the discounted total properly. But Arthur offered to fix this for us by editing the codes and also suggested ways of the best display. We were really impressed by the service and would definitely recommend this to whoever is looking for a discount code in cart app.

The app was great while it worked, I even paid for the pro plan. But then on the launch day of my store, several customers said that the code kept buffering (with the spinning wheel) and it wouldn't register. This caused me to lose a lot of sales. I got in touch with support and granted them access to my store and I understand they need time to fix the problem, but I cannot afford to wait and test it out further, because every customer that encounters this problem will abandon cart and it's hard to recover lost sales. I think it's a very useful app, easy to use and looks good, but because it's still in its infancy and a very new app, it requires a lot more testing. I will be glad to re-install it after more people has tried and tested it and it becomes a solid app.

Very easy to set up and great support! We needed help with some fix between the discount on cart and free shipping track - the app support took care of fixing what needed to be fixed on the back end.

This app not look like demo, I used and spent most of time here but it's not working like this demo link

worked at the beginning but for some reason, this app stopped working. I lost about 150 orders... would not recommend

This app has compatibility issue with a wholesale app we use, and caused the wholesale order having discount code auto-applied, and resulted in big lost on us. We uninstalled the app and still found in some circumstance it would happen again. We hired developer to look into it and was told there were legacy code from the app causing trouble. We need to remove all the legacy code from this app, however we have no how to contact them (hence has to write a review) or any support document available for our developers. Hi team, could you please kindly reach out to us and help remove the legacy code from your app? Thank you!

Works quickly and easily. And the support is quick to respond and helpful to the max. A perfect app experience, get it installed, configured and then forget about it, so you can get back to the important business tasks, like looking after your own customers! Kudos!

based on my own use, the application works well, and you can set it up with ease, customize look and feel etc. Of course visitors are more tempted to buy right away when they can see the effect of discount in the cart page, not wait for checkout.

Update (March 20, 2026) I used Dcart in the past on my old theme, and when I needed a discount field in my cart again, I didn’t think twice! It’s a great app with an amazing team. Arthur was there to help me once again, and now my discount code field is perfectly integrated into my store. Very underrated app. Customer experience is vastly improved when the discount box is on cart page instead of hidden in the checkout page under the order summary. DCart works seamlessly and their support (particularly from Arthur) was A+. Highly recommend.

Great Support! I've been using this app for a while now, and I must say it has significantly enhanced the shopping experience for my customers. One of the biggest pain points in online shopping is the frustration customers face when they can't find where to apply a coupon code. EXTREMELY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. We recently ran into some issues with this app which caused quite some challenges on our end. I contacted support and have been extremely impressed with: 1. The speed of their response time. Typically you have to sit around waiting for ages before anyone cares to get back to you. Not these guys! They were super quick to respond and immediately looked into the problem I we presented them with. 2. Their willingness to go back and forth until the problem was eventually solved. Often app developers get very frustrated after going back and forth and pointing out multiple things that need to be addressed. Not these guys! They remained professional and friendly and kept making iterations until the issue was resolved. The app is working great and meets all of our requirements. Thank you for your help and support
