Armex: Checkout bot blocker

Very good! Have tried many other apps to block the suspicious bots. Only Armex works! Thank you! And Ashley is very helpful:)

The Folks are very Helpful, The Application is top notch. Customer service is fast to response and works with you. We need more Like this.

This app adds an aditional layer of protection against the cc testing bots. I was getting flooded with them, about 5 orders per minute and there isn't any other way to block them other than using a WAF firewall like this one.

Excellent. The support was fantastic (Amy) and got us sorted straight away. Completely stopped the bots creating abandoned checkouts and polluting our email contact database. Fantastic app.

We kept dealing with bot attacks that were impacting our customer and order records plus muddying our email marketing. This happened for weeks and I was unsure how to fix it. Not only have the attacks stopped but Armex helped me set up the app to make sure it was configured properly.

After >8 months of bot traffic and checkout spam, which destroyed our email deliverability with bounces... and Shopify MTS unable or unwilling to have this conversation, Armex script and firewall has succeeded where all other solutions were either half-ass or failures. We STILL will maintain Klaviyo segments and flows with filters to prevent the no-name-set bots. We STILL will have a n8n server instance to filter and delete obvious bots, such as No Name Set, or Name set with pattern recognition. Profiles with no activities. And profiles that KLAVIYO is determining "suspicious" and not permitting the flow to send to the profile (Skipped). But these profiles are not tagged or marked by Klaviyo as suspicious, so the profiles still appear as active. Yet, some bots persist. And then there are SCRAPER bots, such as domain.com/products.json?limit=250&page=1 And Armex can send these bots directly to access denied. And they do not get to pass go or collect $200 or get anywhere near Shopify or Klaviyo (via backfill integration) !!!! I FINALLY get my analytics back! And we can resume browse and checkout abandon flows without worrying about decimating our deliverability. I use CloudFlare for domain/dns and the Armex solution works PERFECTLY with CloudFlare. Easy dns edit. as Mount-It! said in their review: "Note for Shopify: Learn from this!" Finally, support has been fast to answer my questions, and total pros. Thank you!! I will update if anything changes.

Their customer service is great and the app is stopping our checkout bots and other bots. Editing my previous review, and doubling down on how good their customer service is. They really look into your bot traffic when you have questions and helped us figure out what is going on.

Extra . j'ai subi une attaque de bots testing cards avec plus de 1000 paniers abandonnés en 4 jours ...... le support Shopify n'a su rien faire par contre Armex a développé en 2 jours une nouvelle extension qui marche super bien ..... merci à Amy pour la qualité du support en 2h tout a été bloqué !!!!! Outstanding support and a solution that actually worked! We had a serious bot attack creating large numbers of fake abandoned checkouts through direct Shopify cart permalink URLs. It was disrupting our analytics, affecting our checkout setup and causing a major headache for the business. Ashley and the Armex team were excellent throughout. They took the time to properly investigate how the bots were accessing the site, identified that they were mainly targeting our root domain, helped us reconfigure the protection step by step, and then monitored the traffic until the issue was under control. Armex is now blocking the malicious cart requests while genuine customers can browse, use guest checkout and place orders normally. What impressed me most was the support. Ashley was patient, thorough and genuinely determined to get to the bottom of the problem rather than just giving generic advice. Very grateful for the help and would absolutely recommend Armex. 5 stars.

super fast and super supportive customer service

Works as advertised. Very cost effective. Customer Support is better than any other company that I have ever worked with. Never have I ever had a customer support person circle back to check on how everything was working, without asking.

I don't usually write reviews, but this app is a life saver! We were getting hundreds of spam email sign ups a day, driving up our klaviyo bill each month and hurting our open rates. I tried filtering out emails, downloaded other security apps, contacted shopify; none of them made any difference. I downloaded this app a few hours ago, followed the steps and boom! The bot check outs have finally stopped. I'll update this if we experience any site issues from this app but for now everything is running as it should

We installed this app after receiving a significant amount of spam from Shopify checkout. It has been a lifesaver and effectively stopped all issues with abandoned cart spam. We have used the app for six months now. Once it is set up, you can trust it to handle the bots so you can focus on your business. I highly recommend it!

I have had this app in place now for a considerable period of time. I noticed that I was receiving many false bot checkouts and newsletter signups, I'm talking about dozens of them every day. This was playing havoc with my analytics and attempts to build customer lists for emails. I tried a few apps to deal with this, all of them completely ineffective. Fortunately, I continued to try out apps until I discovered Armex. It worked instantly and it continues to do so. The support is simply second to none, always there and always willing to help. I cannot speak highly enough of them!
