Affirm pay‑over‑time messaging

ZERO Stars!!! I have to wait 30 days for their regulatory checks before I get my first payout. So I already provided a product to their borrower and have to wait 30 days to get paid. What a ridiculous wait time!!!! The app does not work well with shopify themes and I have to login off site, in a separate tab to view my account. I can't access the bank info tab to see where my payout will be going, whenever I actually get my payout for my first sale under this app. I tried to click on the bank info tab and it just returns me to the home screen. There is no customer service number or online live chat. I have to wait a day or two to get a response. Customer service (most likely based in some 3rd world country) replied I will need to wait the full 30 days, there is nothing I can do or provide to expedite the information gathering needed for their review. So basically in the mean time, "go pound sand". Customer service never gave me an answer about the bank info tab error. I doubt CEO Levchin even cares about all these low reviews. Maybe, he should put his computer science degree to use and fix this horrible merchant app. I uninstalled this app and won't be using Affirm again as a merchant payout. Just a horrible experience overall!!!

The app did not load right away (i have a custom theme), but once I reached out to tech support, they helped me fix the problems. After that, everything went very smoothly. I would recommend it.

On the collection page, I use the plugin to add Affirm Messaging. When Affirm Messaging appears, the affirm logo keeps flashing, getting bigger and smaller, repeating for a few seconds before returning to normal, and if our price is a range , there are two values, and the amount of confirm will link them into a large number, which will cause the message to not be displayed.

Probably the worst customer support in the business for this type of app. No one is helping me and when they do reply all they say is uninstall the app and reinstall it. For such a major company, their customer service is subpar at best. Come on! I've had this app and it worked great. Now I have a new theme and it's not working and no one from Affirm is helping. How do you expect to keep your customers if you're not helping them? I need help ASAP with this app. UPDATE: Still no help from support. I would think if you want me to add your app on my store you would provide help besides directing me to a document.

You can look forward to them unexpectedly holding the funds on your first order for the reason that they are "getting to know your business." There is nothing in the merchant agreement that says they can do that, so it's fraud. Meanwhile you can't ship the order to your customer because you have no idea if you are actually going to receive the payment. The Feds need to look closely at this trashy company.

I have waisted 2 days trying to install this bullcrap app. No support, no chat and the app is full of bugs. I received recaptcha error, and 404 forbidden errors. Even after I dump my cache, open different browsers and used different devices. This is a nightmare to install. I'm done!!

I am giving a zero, there in no phone number to speak with a human tech in resolving issues connecting to Shopify. After getting accepted its just been continued login failures connecting with Shopify. Their loss

We tried to integrate Affirm to our Shopify store and it was a nightmare. We provided our banking + verification info only to get an error message. We created a support ticket and instead of resolving the error, support told us to abandon the current email address and use a new email to make a new business account (makes no sense as our Shopify store is already linked to the original email account we were told to abandon.). After troubling our IT to create a new email address, we got an error and could not create a new business account. This is a very buggy app, the FAQ is not helpful at all, the customer service is horrible, I am at the verge of just forgoing split payment.

Fantastic service! The app requires some development knowledge in order to master, but overall I love Affirm

App and messaging has not loaded for nearly two years, even after changing themes and several of the Shopify Helpers/Hireable team looking into it. Have not been able to integrate it at all.

I am giving this app a 1 star since it is currently not working. I am unable to login via google with an error stating connection refused and when I log in using username and password the app states that it needs to be reinstalled.

They are definitely self righteous, acting as if they are better than God. From looking at these ratings it is very clear that they don't care about their merchants, just the money they collect from the consumer. But then again the guy who founded Affirm is so rich now he doesn't have to care.

Same Experience As All Other Users - Doesn't work

Don't get discourage by the negative reviews, yes the implementation requires a little bit of coding experience and reading the documentation, but in our case we have a very customized template and we made it work, just read and follow the instructions, don't be afraid to ask for help.

App doesn't work. Always gets stuck loading on promotional message page and doesn't allow me to install the promotional message

The Affirm app works just fine. I followed the instructions and was able to add the Affirm messaging in a matter of minutes.

This is a crap App, does not even install + impossible to login in their web dashboard after creating an account. Expected a tech person to troubleshoot for us but with little hope

Trash. They have issues with the login after getting accepted, but haven't fixed their login issue. I'm unable to sign in to my merchant account and there's no live support to even chat with. Horrible.

doesnt ever work. been dealing with customer service for days now. its just a huge hassle and not worth it when there si klarna and afterpay available

Randomly bloating the app with new pop-ups and updates that noone asked for. Does not work as intended, cannot recommend.
